Have Fun

Use cookie cutters or cut shapes into sandwiches, fruit and other healthy food items. Special notes and stickers hidden in lunch boxes are great ‘treats’ rather than high fat or high sugar foods.

Hand Hygiene

Washing your hands properly is still the best way to keep infection from spreading. But there is a right way to clean your hands.

Sun Country Health Region has files attached below to show you how to wash your hands in a way consistent with recommendations from the World Health Organization.

One file shows how to wash properly with soap, and one with Isogel.

Another file shows the four moments that health care personnel are required to clean their hands before providing patient care. Patients/residents/clients should be aware of those four steps and remind their health care personnel if the steps are forgotten.
