Arcola Town Sign
By: Greg Johnston Photography
Arcola the "The Heritage Town"
Population: 532.
Arcola claimed its name, The Heritage Town, when buildings such as the Town Hall, Merchant's Bank, Courthouse, Land Titles Building, which is now the Arcola School Division Office, Arcola Hotel and Brock Union Hospital, were built in the early 1900s. Arcola became a town in 1903.
The buildings that stand today contribute to the preservation of the town's heritage. Today, Arcola thrives on its many businesses, services, oil and farming industries, and health care centre. Arcola invites you to Live, Work and Play here! Make us your choice!
