Psychiatric Services

Psychiatrists are medical doctors trained in psychiatry and can prescribe medication to treat emotional and/or mental illness or disorders.

Psychiatrists provide a wide range of mental health services throughout the region. Services are available on a full-time basis at the clinics in Weyburn and Estevan. Part-time clinics are held on a regular basis in various communities throughout the region.

Our staff hold all client information as confidential and will only disclose information under one of the following circumstances:

• with the consent of the client
• when ordered by the courts
• when child abuse or neglect is suspected
• when self harm or harm to others may occur.
