Nut allergies can be life threatening. Help protect your child’s school environment and don’t send nuts or foods containing nut ingredients to school. Use sandwich fillings such as lean meat, poultry, fish, egg salad, hummus or beans instead.

KEYNOTE: Julie Keon: 2 Sessions “The Seasons of Mothering my Medically Fragile Child” and “What I Would Tell You -The Medical Professional”  

Author of the Book - What I Would Tell You- One Mother’s Adventure with Medical Fragility, Life-Cycle Celebrant and end-of-life educator. Julie’s book follows her journey of mothering her medically fragile child and brings guidance in dealing with end-of-life issues for families, volunteers and healthcare professionals. She shares her wisdom and the emotional realities of living well despite her daughter’s prognosis.  “We must parent our children through death as we did through their lives: with deep respect and love and by following our intuition always.”






Also: Dr. Carmen Johnson, Palliative Medical Director / Regina will present on the symptom “Delirium and its Management at End-of-Life”, in all settings. 


Then: Bernard’s Story – A personal story of Palliative Support
