RECRUITMENT GRANTS
Recruitment Grants provide health employees and physicians living within Saskatchewan with funding for Northern/Rural "work", or a Northern/Rural "work and reside" in exchange for a specified return-for-service commitment. Provides health employees and physicians who are relocating from outside of Saskatchewan with a Northern/Rural "work" or a Hard to Recruit Grant in exchange for a specified return in service commitment.
The Ministry of Health offers a Rural Work or Northern Work Grant of $5,000 to $15,000 (which may be combined with a Relocation Grant) for any health employee who:
• Is a new graduate who relocates to Saskatchewan
• Accepts a position with an eligible employer in a rural or northern Saskatchewan health region
• Meets all eligibility requirements
• Commits to the province an additional one to two years return in service.
The Ministry of Health offers a Rural Work and Reside or a Northern Work and Reside Grant of $5,000 to $10,000 (which may be combined with the Rural Work or Northern Work Grant) for any health employee who:
• Already resides in Saskatchewan in an urban or rural health region
• Establishes their primary residence in the same health region where they are working
• Accepts a health position with an eligible employer in a rural or northern Saskatchewan health region
• Meets all eligibility requirements
• Commits to an additional(consecutive) one to two years return in service

Physician - Rural Practice Establishment Grant
Provides $25,000 to those physicians establishing a practice in rural Saskatchewan. In return, physicians must practice in a rural Saskatchewan community for a minimum 18 months.

Physician -Rural Practice Establishment Grant for Foreign Trained Physicians
The grant will provide $25,000 to a foreign trained family physician that establishes a practice for 18 months in rural Saskatchewan.

Physician - Rural Practice Establishment Grant for Employed Physicians
The grant provides $10,000 to eligible family physicians who establish a practice in a rural, regional or northern community for a minimum of 18 months

Ministry of Health Relocation Program
The Ministry of Health offers a Relocation Grant of $5,000 for any health employee who:
• relocates to Saskatchewan
• accepts a health position with an eligible employer in Saskatchewan
• meets all the eligibility requirements
• commits to a one-year of return in service
